To get the hood of a type S painted.
And does anyone have any pictures of VBPs with black hoods.
Basically I want to know if the price difference is enough to justify just picking up a CF hood, or if its like 250 or under to paint a hood.

If your gonna say stupid shit please keep it somewhere else. I know people don't like painted hoods, but I want the hood black for looks not performance, but if performance won't cost me to much more then I am willing to spend. Get over it.
I don't consider the shitty wet carbon hoods everyone uses a performance item in the least bit. The previous was said from an appearance stand point. There's a DIY guide on painting front bumper so you can take a shot if you really wanna go cheap... but then again they gonna be :ugh:

Everybody just asked me if I was in an accident and didn't have enough money to do a proper fix.
Then somebody keyed my entire car all around and it wasn't just surface scratch, like the metal was all dented in and shit all around.
Somebody even keyed ricer right across my hood.

Just get a cf hood or go get an estimate at a local body shop since they will most likely do the work

It was inspired by my friend with a new bone stock Lancer like a month after he got it, it was keyed all around the car while parked at school. :shady:
