I picked up an 06 Type S the other day. :hb: It will be my project car. It was tough trying to find a CLEAN title RSX TYPE S in CA but I luckily found one in pretty good condition. Haha.

I'll be modding it very soon but wanted to give the engine another once over before the upgrades.

So I am interested in knowing if anyone has experienced a slight whizzing sound (not from vtec) while shifting into 1st or 2nd gear. It only last a few seconds ~1000 to 2500 rpm range. I have no idea where the sound is coming from. Anyone have an idea? The sound doesn't seem to affect performance. I hope someone can shine some light on this.

I got the same thing I think. Have had the car for about a year and have yet to address it lol. Heard it could be a vacuum leak

Lol. Good to know I'm not the only one. You what mine sounds like a turbo spooling. Haha. Which is why I dont really mind it.

many different things could make that noise in low gears if it is really loud i say upload a video of it if you can, also lets play cs-go together lol
