Yeah, I used a bench grinder to get it to shape, the plastic is pretty thick and kinda hard to cut with a utility knife. After that i used a die grinder to finish the shape and then 220 sand paper to smooth it.did you just cut the stock spark cover
I used Gunk Engine Brite to clean the dipstick and then masked from the beginning of the metal down a few inches and held it out in front of me and sprayed it.Howd you paint the dipstick? Did you prep it at all?

Stuff used:
- Aircraft paint stripper
- Krylon wrinkle red paint
- Krylon fusion black paint (for dipstick)

There was actually one in the shop i work at the day before i did the valve cover. I was so tempted to take it.looks good but not feeling the DIY spark plug cover. why don't you just get one for the EP3? it's only like $21 from Honda.
I'll see if I can post up pics of mine in a week to show you.
