i have a question about boost by gear in kpro... Are you supposed to set your bc duty % higher in the lower rpms to spool the turbo faster and then lower the bc % as the higher the rpms gets in each gear?

sorta like 1000-5000rpms set it at say bc 71% and then 5000-7000 set it at 51% and 8000 at 41% and so on.....

tbh axix I don't know shit about the boost or nos functions in kpro. I don't use them and don't know anybody who is currently boosted and uses kpro enough to tell me. Perhaps joso can chime in as I know he has helped a few people out who are boosted. Or maybe Mag will chime in :dontknow:

gotcha.. I got the duty cycle down to what psi it will be.. I just need to figure out how to plug in the values where it spools faster. I looked at a few other Kals and they have the boost controller duty % higher in lower rpms up to the rpm they usually spool and lower % after and holds to the same %

did you push the yellow lightning bolt? That is datalog but not record *where you can save the datalog* to record push the red button.

What do you mean your temp gauge isn't working? Is it just not moving up? If you let teh car sit it will be cold for awhile...

U kno on the left bottom corner wher its suppose to say online. It always say off line. And I drive the around it doesn't move

Hmm.....not to sure...I never paid ttention to mine until you mentioned it.

Are you able to datalog at all or no? Does it say ECU connected when you plug in your laptop?
No not at all and when I plug in the laptop in installs device and say ready to use but nothing happens on the kmanager side. And everytime I start up kmanager it tells me the its old it might need updating but I tried to update and thats the latest version

first I would erase the ecu (clear security) and then upload the fresh calibration that you will be using. if you plan on using the calibration that is already on the k-pro ecu there may be a version problem between your Kmanager and the one already on the ecu.

Well from what it sounds like its not reading the ecu at all which could be a few problems..the daughterboard could be messed up or the connection between the two *the later wouldn't occur though because it wants to install drivers hmm*

Try what he said above and let us know...also if you go to hondata's forum under kmanager there is a beta version available. Mine said the same thing till I updated it

mine does this too

Kmanager does this after a few weeks/months automatically, I just ignore it, I'm not willing to install the new beta version until it's generally released as there have been a few small issues that Hondata are working on. that's the purpose of a beta. what is important is that the version on the ecu should be the same as on the laptop, regardless of which version it is. always best to erase the ecu first and upload a fresh cal whenever you change kmanager versions as there can be some new parameters added that aren't on the older version.

How do u erase the old version off the ecu? Especially since when I connect the laptop it still says offline?

I don't need the cal thats on the ecu now I have to retune it. I just changed my setup and the guy I got the kpro from say it has a stock cal

there are installation instructions in the kmanager help file. if you can get the device drivers installed properly and when the ecu is in the car hooked up to the laptop and it doesn't recognize the device then I would try following the troubleshooting procedures in the help file. it could be a simple problem or there could be a problem in the ecu/k-pro board.

If there is a problem in the kpro itself I would have to return it?
