Im installing Alpine sps 610c in my door panels and I'm installing sps-610 in the back. My question is should I install the component tweeter where the factory tweeters were and use the factory tweeter wires or should I piggy back the tweeters off the sps-610-c??
I think it makes sense to use the factory tweeter wires but IM GUESSING PLEASE HELP!

Thanks in advance!!

Doesn't it make sense to use the existing tweeter wire since its wired up to the crossovers to send the correct frequencies to the right spot? The door speakers don't get the highs etc etc. Am I incorrect Im really not technical it just kinda makes sense to me.

PS Thanks for your help I appreciate it much.

I'm not sure where the crossovers are in the stock system, or if it's all through the amp. But no, your cutting everything out and starting fresh, no reason not to use the crossovers included from alpine. So aftermarket amp -> speakers -> tweeters. Then signal from the headunit.

If you used the factory wiring, you'd need to trace the wiring and run that to the speaker to get signal/power. Way to much work & doesn't make sense

No problem

use the xovers that came with the speakers, there is no factory xover on the amp, just a capacitor on the stock tweeter.

Unless you are running an active system with full time alignment you will get teh best sound with the mid and tweet as close to each other as possible.

Spacers thats what I needed

I was able to hook up the SPS-610-C with a 1/2 inch spacer and 4 quick tap screws did the trick. The sound quality is to MY liking. I am very happy with the better highs as well as better midrange bass. Great buy for 75 dollars approximately!
Thanks for everyones help!

Also put the alpine sps610 in the back. They add more bass because of the bigger cutout. Its a much better sound with the components in the front and the coaxils in the back. I really am enjoying the upgrade!
