Im sorry.. I just cant look at those bumpers and think of this. To each his own, and mad props for a rare item but......

 

That bumper is almost like a srt bumper

 

i got the BYS front bumper. but the carbon fiber aint in the best shape.. anyone got some suggestions for me. thinking if i should rewrap it ?

 

Pics? Curious to hear some suggestions also...

 

The CF or the clearcoat? If it's the clearcoat, you can reclear it or paint it the same color as the bumper. I know it defeats the purpose of CF but it's a suggestion. If the actual CF is messed up you could rewrap it or maybe have it refinished in FRP or whatever the material of the bumper is. I don't do bodywork so I don't even know if that's possible lol

 

Heres My BYS Front Bumper . Needs Work On The Carbon Fiber.. i asked the Body Shop . if he can maybe bring back the carbon fiber.. he said its nearly impossible. i ask for some suggestions. he said paint it black and just rewrap the carbon fiber.. i aint really trying to do that. id rather leave the carbon fiber beat up .. lol

Mine is not as bad as yours, did you buy it used from a importer? In my opinion I would wrap it in CF...

i believe i have " ivtec integ " Old BYS Bumper.

i decided im going to paint the carbon fiber. Black ! best thing to do. than later on bring it back to life re wrap it with carbon

 

:thumbsup: if you daily it like my dumb ass. advise you to get like a front splitter. i have winglets mounted on mines and its helped me so many times

I know this tread is old but I'll leave this here...

 

just recently picked up a airwalker hood.. and the only problem i have is it wont close/latch down. i also had to tuck the ac line to clear the vents
i replaced the hood latch with a brand new oem latch and tired adjusting it around.. still no luck. any suggestions?

does it have fitment issues when you have CAI?

love those bumpers esp the ABP, Champ White or PWP

 

I had a custom CAI fabricated to get cold filtered air to my ITBs and it clears my bumper. If anything, the BYS bumper ducts cold air right into the CAI.

 

Does anyone know if the BYS needs to be cut for an intercooler?
