Best headlight upgrades?

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and I'm getting a 2002 RSX Type-S this week. It currently has stock headlights with some pretty heavy oxidation on the outside. I am going to replace the headlights, but I am torn between staying with the halogens or upgrading to HIDs. Can anyone recommend some HIDs that are reliable and don't overheat and stop working after a few months? I'm not a fan of the chrome headlights, so the black would be preferred.

You can always restore them or you can find another oem set, and then DIY black out the housing. As far as upgrading, you could go with projectors/retrofit for best output.

If the outside of the headlights are just yellowed, you could try the Philips Headlight Restoration Kit on them. It's inexpensive and can make a big difference on the lenses. If they are cracked though and you want to replace the headlight housings, we have a variety of options for the RSX.
