There is no problem.
However, the car won't be perfectly clean...
You still need direct contact to the surface to get your car clean.

Haha, sounds like you viewed the thread where this really happened! Anyways, dude, nothing beats a hand-washed vehicle. Besides, since it is raining, it's just going to get dirty again. I mean, if it's that big of a deal to you, go for it since it's free. Won't do the best job (touchless), but it's better than nothing.

 

someday when my car gets hella dent on it. i want something like that washing machine/rsx accident to happen to mine so i'll get it replaced for free. want the machine to eat my car up and save me my seats.

 

I would suggest to avoid touchless washes.

No touch = chemicals

If it's one of those washes with the auto twirly brushes, imagine trying to clean your car by slapping a rag at it. God only knows what kind of rocks or debris got caught up in the twirlies before they started slapping your car.....

Ugh, I loathe automatic car washes.

Remember taking my old Probe GT through one in the winter and forgot to turn the radio off so the antenna stayed up and got ripped right off.

 

I had a probe GT, too. Bad ass little domestic mazda's.

 

nooo you guys are not getting the word "touchless". when i say touchless i mean touchless, powered water/water stream/high powered water. like strong water hoses spraying at your car. none of that fabric-to-vehicle machines.

It is able to go through a car wash.

Why does everyone thing this is like a frickin lambo and only God can wash it, it's a damn car, it will be fine in any car wash.

If you want it really clean, go through car was, spray detailing spray, whipe off then wax. good as new

 

i agree nothing beats a good old scrubbing by hand. but theres quite a few touchless carwashes around my way and they are good for the winter time when its cold and you just wanna blast off the salt and road grit for 5 dollars. plust most of them do the undercarrage when you pull into it.
