One headlight (H1 halogen) dimmer?

I noticed tonight that my driver's side headlight (low beam) is dimmer than the other side. It still works, there is some light output, but it is dimmer? Any idea on why this might be? I'm just using regular H1 halogens.

I will probably replace the bulb tomorrow if I get a chance.

Are you sure it's really dimmer? In the US and Canadian cars the left headlight is aimed differently to not blind passing cars...

Yeah, I am sure. I just noticed it the other night when the car was shining on the garage door. Before that, they appeared of equal brightness.

Well today the entire bulb burnt out, rather than shine dimly. I replaced it, and noticed that the dead bulb had cloudy white and blue inside?
