Full bolt ons (intake, intake manifold, throttle body, headers, exhaust), upgrade fuel system (injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail), drag cartel cams, stoptech valves and springs, k tuner ecu and get it tuned. Theres a guy on youtube he did one on his integra k20 k24 swap but same build.

 

Yea I've got all bolt ons. Now I need to get a 04 ECU and with the main 02 sensor so I'm told. I'll look into the cams not sure if I needed a stage 2 or 3. Should I bore my pistons or can I leave them stock size. Main journal stock or bore? Ill figure it out thanks

 

Since you got a 06 I recommend k tuner instead of k pro, it’s easier to install and much cheaper overall since it’s more compatible

 

I’ve never built an n/a motor so I very well could be wrong, but I don’t see you achieving 300 hp with bolt ons and cams with supporting mods on a Z1. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. At the very least, you would need a k24 bottom end that DC5Carlos mentioned from the guy on YouTube.

 

Dude thank u I been stressing trying to find a different ECU now I don't have too. Never knew about ktuner didn't think it was possible. Now I know. And maybe I can't get 300 hp outta my z1 but I wanna get close to it. It's dynoed at 200hp with just headers and exhaust. If I add a intake manifold 70 to 72mm throttle body 450 cc injectors ktune 1000$ set of cams new pistons and rod connectors, double spring valves, underdrive pulleys cold air ect... I mean man it's gotta at least add 75hp at the most dont y'all think???

I think you were on a high reading dyno to achieve 200 with just a header and exhaust with no tune. Or you have a factory freak for an engine.
If you’re doing pistons and rods as well, I would assume you’re increasing compression? Then yes you can get very close, with the help of a good tuner. I‘d skip the underdrive pulleys though until the very end when you can’t squeeze anything else out of her. I don’t think there are even any reputable companies making them anymore. I’ve thought about the same, try to build full na my z1 but you’ll still see more gains and it will be easier with a k24 I’m just gonna tune my z1 with rbc,rh, exhaust and 72mmtb maybe go e85 and k24 cams and just save for a jdm k24
