RSX Axles (Base vs Type S/R)

Hi all,
I am about to upgrade to Insane shaft 500hp rating axle. There are two different type, Base or Type S.

Further searching on the net found Base RSX axle is 32mm in size whereas Type S/R uses 36mm in size.

Can I just basically buy Type S axle (bigger size 36mm), then only change the spindle hub to type S whilst retain all the Base's brake?

A Month late, but if you change the hubs, youll have to change the calipers, rotors, everything.

I opted for just buying the base and dealing with all the base brakes still.

oof....that's a hefty sum just to use Type S Axles.

Since your changing the hub to the type s one, would that include knuckles, shocks and lower control arms also?

I have the hub, caliper and all of you want to switch to the bigger acles
