K20.. i have a 05 and its the K20Z1.. the 02-04 its a K20 but not sure whats on the end of it

It depends on the year range. The USDM RSX Type-S from 02-04 has a K20A2. The USDM RSX Type-S from 05-06 has a K20Z1. Do note that the Z1 is an upgraded motor from the 02-04 lineup.

2002-04 Acura RSX Base has a k20a3, may be some differences between the manual and automatic versions
2002-04 Acura RSX Type-S has the k20a2, it has different Vtec engagement and other stuff
2005-6 im pretty sure that they all have the k20z1, not sure though. Look at the RSX wikipedia page,

 

The RSX base has a K20A3 for all years. Again, the Type-S 02-04 has a K20A2 and the 05-06 Type-S has a K20Z1. This information is easily attainable with a quick web search. And I know wiki isnt super duper reliable, but they have all the engines and variants mapped out in a table.

From the factory the Type-S came with a 5.9 liter Cummins turbo diesel. That's why you regularly see RSX's towing mobile homes cross country.
