I Own a base model automatic rsx and i want to boost its power without having to do any motor swaps. ive been looking into different cold air intakes and exhaust but everything i find is suited better for the manual transmission or the type s. what should i do?

This question has been asked a hundred times. Read this

Injen CAI will work on the auto even though it says “manual only”. It’s just a tight fit. There are plenty of exhaust systems for the base model, you just have to look. Whatever additional power you make will be an improvement over stock, but don’t expect anything exciting. The car will still be slow as shit with bolt ons and a tune, it’ll just make passing and merging on the freeway a little easier.

Intake and exhaust will only improve throttle response and make it sound fun, you aren't going to see much of a performance increase for the money spent. The 05-06 Base Autos are unfortunately the worse platform to start with in the RSX family because of the K20A3 motor and the ECU not being compatible with K-Pro. Once you're done with the bolt-on, enjoy the car for what it is and focus on maintenance, style and stance.
