I believe Hondata has that dyno chart on their website. I remember looking at one the other day

 

Mine had a SRI and a Shorty header, so NEAR stock, and with KPro gained 22whp on the top end.

 

you will probably see gain very similar to a Hondata Reflash, BUT that means you should at minimum have an Intake (or modded stock intake)...

 

someone should take a bone-stock rsx, get dyno tuned and see what they make.

 

every dyno gives different numbers. (depends on altitude)

 

well i think he means, load up the k20a2 stock kal and do 3 runs...then cool down...load up the stock tuned kal and do 3 runs and take the average run of the 3, to see the gain from just hondata.

 

I can get close. 02 type-s, dynoed September of 2006 with Injen CAI, and a stock exhaust with a magnaflow muffler from the rear axle back, no Kpro, 184.1 whp and 131.9 wtq on a Dynoject. Dynoed again in September 2007 with Kpro, Injen cai, DC shorty header, stock cat and same exhaust, 197.5 whp and 138 wtq, same Dynojet.

 

Only change was KPro.

 

wow you picked up 22 hp from basline to final? only K-PRO? no intake or exhaust?

 

lower line was Ebay Short Ram Intake (no gain just sound) and Megan Racing Shorty Header (prolly 1-2whp gain)

upper line was same i/h but on a KPro basemap, no tune, and yes 22whp gain on a 101* day.

 

I thought this thread died! Nice gains. Gives me hope to get some extra power until I can afford more mods! My exhaust is on backorder til late September so for the moment I am running the stock tuned K20a2 kal for now. I datalogged it and didn't have any issues with knock or anything. The Vtec x-over is a little rough (feels like i lift for a split second) but that'll be taken care of when my exhaust comes in and I can get it up to D-rob for a tune.

 

I own a stock 04 base 5 speed. Hasport 70a mounts, no bolt ons.
131 hp, 138 tq.
