Get a Type R exhaust
It's noticeably louder and deep but it's OEM, passes smog, and doesn't drone.

 

I am running an Invidia Q300. The build quality is amazing, It’s made in Japan.
It’s quiet & 2.75” aka 70MM. it’s not very loud and I am k24 with race header. I highly recommend. I have more pictures on my IG build page @Typerdee

Got the same car I went with the yonaka catback exhaust system. I love it. Deep hum not loud or rice sounding.

 

+1 for Q300. Best exhaust available for this car IMO

 

I personally like the Apex exhausts. If you like bling, you want the WS-II. If you want stealth or low key exhaust, you want the WS- Noir. They are both excellent exhausts. There should be some sound clip videos on YT for both types on a RSX. I got the Noir for my Integra when I had it and dont regret it one bit. It's a little pricey, but totally worth the bills. 😊 Nice subtle deep tone when cruising and awesome tone at high RPM's. Nothing crazy loud either. I had it paired with a test pipe and the sound was fantastic. I'm considering getting one for my TSX when the time comes. Check out the YT vids. 👍🏾

Back in the day I ran the greddy sp2 with race header and it was best ive ever heard, (to my ears). now days im leaning toward the Q300 or ws2

 

Can't go wrong with either one

 

The Q300 is so well mannered for a daily exhaust. Good, deep and throaty. Doesnt drone. Wont incite a mob of angry neighbors but still screams in the upper RPM's.

 

The Q300 performs well and can be used with force induction builds.

 

So this Spec-D exhaust I take is not good compared to the Q300? Judging by the price

 

It’s not good compared to anything. It’s literally just some piping. There’s no r&d done for their products in general. Even if it did sound nice, I don’t see it lasting long. You get what you pay for.
