it looks like the carbonetic twin is about 30% more expensive than competition clutch twin. i think msrp is $1980, ill have eric see if we can do a clubrsx special on them?
twins are available now, triple is in development not yet ready for production
the competition clutch stg 4 is a completely different clutch. single disc, stamped steel pressure plate, uses the stock style flywheel. much more street friendly and works great for a daily driver up to 550whp.
the competition clutch twindisc is a good race style clutch which is pretty affordable, holds a LOT of power, but is pretty harsh on the driveline. highly recommended to upgrade your gears with a clutch like this. cnc machined billet pressure plate, cromoly flywheel included.
the carbonetic twin is intended to be a step up from the competition twin. It is a carbon carbon construction so it has smoother engagement, and as it heats up it can hold more and more power the hotter it gets. cromo flywheel included and billet aluminum pressure plate too.
weve installed a lot of carbonetics in the nissans here (skylines, silvias, G35s) and some supras, with excellent results. By far my favorite clutch for a high power build that i dont want to sacrifice driveability with like an HKS triple (worst 2jz clutch ive ever used). Have not installed any K series yet
