I have a 2002 Acura Rsx type S. I was at a stop light, everything seemed to be going fine. When the light turned green I pressed in the clutch in and heard a loud noise. Then I had no cluch, I could not shift into gear. I looked under the hood and found that my clutch master cylinder located next to my brake master cylinder had a bolt missing from this bronze looking plate and had some clutch fluid leaking out. I have no clue how the bolt came off I don't abuse my Rsx too much. Has anyone had this problem or heard of Acura Rsx Type S clutch masters going bad without warning? Car has just under 100,000 miles, Also I gotta replace it tomorrow, does anyone know how to replace it, or if there are any special procedure for bleeding out the clutch's hydraulic system. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanx for any help or input.

Same problem happened to me last night.... just driving down the road in 3rd chilling and went to shift, clutch went down didn't come back up... The shop this morning told me the Clutch master cylinder blew and i needed to replace it. Cost me 75 for the part and about 50 for labor. I also just installed a ACT XT-SS just about a month and half ago. I think thats what pushed it over the edge.
