Wow that sucks for you and the gsr then. The new tanabe exhaust systems for the rsx have a 90 decibel level which is awesome for daily driving.
Haha yeeah the GSR is gone now. It ended up with a WS2. HKS is by far the best exhaust I've ever had

The gains wouldn't have been that high without the cat-back correct? I will probably get this header first then a catback. Thinking the 70mm Q300.
With a cat the gains would have been small. That's why there are so many companys that have made race headers. 70mm would be good. The header outlet is 2.5 inches and thats almost exactly 65mm and thats what my HKS is. I'm sure 5mm bigger wont do anything drastic

Race header w/stock 06 exhaust wouldnt be bad. I would really like to see if the HKS and Tanabe are actually 65mm tip to tip. Fujitsubo FTW Lil boys.

i would never run a header with factory exhaust...it will just hold you back. And i agree Fujitsubo PG sounds great

You figure out how to remedy that?
Nope. Not really anythin gyou can do about it. Besides Kpro
A little bit of Tylenol will make it go away ..

oh and kpro will do the trick in making the cel go away.
Or reflash :]
I googled reviews for these header and a lot of people complaint about "raspiness". Anyone experience said "raspiness" with their header??
No rasp on my end. You sure it's this header?

What exhaust pairs off well with this header? I like the sound of the Skunk2 RR Exhaust. In this vid they are hook up to the Megapower Header, not the Alpha Series. Sound should be very similar right??

But I also hear good things about the Q300 and HKS. All pretty much the same?? Any fitment issues with any of these?

My final concern is will this header fit with a K24 block?? Might do a Frank engine in the future and would like to not have to buy a header again

I know the Q300 sounds really good and is fairly cheap. The HKS is the exhaust I've wanted for ever so I love it like a first born child. It does have bumper fitment issues though. It gave my buddies bumper a nice burn mark and I actually have a hole I can stick my 4 fingers in. But meh whatever because racecar right?

I have no idea about the k24 block. I'd call skunk2 and ask

Still waiting on some funds but i know a guy i used to work with who works at a shop with a dyno, so im trying to set up before and after runs as well if its not too expensive. Right now i have SRI and Greddy SE catback, hopefully i will break 200whp. Also, my catback is 60mm, will it bolt up correctly?

Yeah it will bolt up just fine

The power chamber is way better than a cai. I had a cai, and when I switched to the pwjdm pchamber with a velocity stack, way way way way more power. Just my two cents. B series is not the same a s a kseries.
I'm not trying to be rude here, but just for shits and giggles when we tested Hybrid Racing's new CAI against all the competition, they ran a PWJDM powerchamber for the 8thgen civic.

here's the result:

The PWJDM lost horsepower over the stock intake...

Not a chance in hell that thing made, quote, "way way way way more power" as you put it :D
