So basically i just wanna know all the differences of these two besides the name and price haha.

It looks like you get the trans mounting bracket with the race one but I’m talking about the cables themselves likes what’s better or worse about them?

Also when i tried putting the left cable back in the ktuned shifter slot it wont turn all the way and i ended up breaking part of the plastic piece off:/ is there any special tool or trick into installing that cable?

The K-Tuned cables are a million times better. I had to replace mine since my oem cables snapped and it is amazing. Yes it comes with the bracket and bolts and not only performs better but makes the engine bay look incredible. When you shift into the gears it feels like an actual mechanical linkage to the transmission. I recommend the cables more than anything! If you want to feel like it is YOU shifting the gears and being a part of the driving more than before, then the K - Tuned Cables are the way to go.

In that case the bottom one is pretty much the same as OEM, they're intended for other cars with K series transmission swaps that need the cables but don't wanna order through Honda/Acura. They'll fit in the RSX also, but it wouldn't be much of an upgrade from OEM

A cable is just a cable: It either works or it doesn't. I would suggest trying the bushings first and then see if you feel the need to upgrade after that. There will be 10X more slop in old shifter eyelet bushings than there ever will be in a cable of equivalent age. Sure, buy new cables if you like but I personally doubt that they would make as big a difference as the bushings.

I have been running brass eyelet bushings for over five years and the shifter still feels better than new.

Good luck with it.

I have a K-Tuned shifter box and want to take some of the forward and back slack out of shifting. It seems like the play is from inside the tranny but I was wondering if new cables would help? Also it feels like mine are sticking in a few places from left to right. Do K-Tuned cables slide easily?

I have the entire K-Tune setup. cables are so not worth it buddy of mind just got the box and his feels way better. Not worth the money in my opinion. Trust me save the money spend it on something else.

I also have that problem from side to side and i have the race cables

I have the full Hybrid Racing setup and I wouldn't change it for anything. I ABSOLUTELY love the feel. All worth it to me.

I also swapped out the bushing once and it was noticeable. But I swapped out the cables later and 1000x times better. Strong thicker cable a lot more solid feeling.

I've always had the HR cables even with the Ktuned. It was nice but it's more just shinny to me... but it's covered by the center console and boot so no need for the bling. The HR is straight function and I love the adjust-ability features compared to the ktuned especially. Not dealing with tiny little allen heads is nice.
