im building my bottom end on my z1 m y question is what pistons are safe to run on pump gas with a street tune.... i wanna keep my stock bore size also...

please help crsx

People are harsh man...look, with 12.5:1 compression is around the max you can do on pump gas. 91 or higher is needed.if ur goal is 230, theres no need for internals on a z1. Just get full quality bolt ons and some brian crowers stage 2 cams. Youll be around 230hp. Just save your money and get pistons for the k24. Youll be much happier

well i spun a rod in my k20 dats why i wanna fix it...... and i dont wanna rush build cuzz i want my k24 to be fully built.........

plan for k20 is built bottom end with fully bolted.... some one told me 12.5 was to high for pump gas.... down here n south texas we got 93 so dats what i will be pumping all the time

I made 235 on z1 cams, bolt ons i/rbc/h/e and a good tune. It kept up with bolt on Evo 9s.
It was a great daily driver. 91 pump.
It's more than enough power for daily.
If you want real torque power. Stay with what you have and you'll be fine.

If you have a more free flowing exhaust, depending on how well your engine is maintained, you can definitely push more than mine. I only have a 60mm Greddy SE exhaust and it's pretty restrictive.
