Just get PLM, it doesn't have fitment issues but may leak. I would weld the joints if it leaks.

 

What's the reason to go for it over skunk2? I said the fitment issues won't be a problem since I'll have it installed at a shop.

It's a lot cheaper and you can use it with a K24 swap.

 

I don't have k24 .. it's cheaper but is it worth it over the skunk2? The price between is minimal so I wouldn't mind paying extra if it meant the header was better.

Performance and sound wise is what I'm after. Fitment issues I'm sure I'll get around it and the price is about the same.

I read the fitment issues is pretty bad on the skunk2, you'll probably need to get the EM2 sway bar to clear the header. A race header is a race header, I don't think the skunk2 is another level up. If it were me, I would save money and get the PLM.

 

Is there two versions of the plm header? If so which one is best?

I have the skunk 2 alpha header installed on mine for about 3 years. I have an 02 rsx type s and to get rid of the stock sway bar from hitting the header I used adjustable sway bar linkage. I haven't had any rubbing issues since then. It might help also that I have all 4 innovative engine mounts installed also

 

I've read a couple of people saying the header lags in the high rpm? Someone even told me after 3rd gear. Have you experienced this?
