Not to hard, biggest PITA will be the wire harness. It runs though the passenger side quarter panel so plan to remove those interior panel in advance.

is it?? damn thats what i was thinkin 2, the harness huh! is there some of connection where the plugs meet in the quarter panel or where do i disconect the harness coming from the hatch>??

i heard the only things that can make this a pain in the ass is the brake light harness and installing a window. but seeing as youre just swapping hatches that both have the rear hatch glass installed already you only have to worry about the harness. and even so, its not like you're wiring anything just pulling wires out and re plugging them in.

damnnn i bet that harness it is gonna be a pain, since u have to remove the panels and shit, but hopefully goes well

i just did a hatch swap with a friend of mines . it is a pain in the ass . taking out the hatch bolts is no problem at all .. only thing that sucks was the wiring harness . i couldnt find anyway of taking it off besides cutting it so i did and had to resolder it which made it easier . haha . hope that helps out

it takes some time to do like what was said you have to pull the pass side panel out to get to the harness its about halfway up the quarter then you have to pull the headliner down some to get to the bolts and then the antenna wire you pop the little cover off and unplug it from the window just make sure to take a piece of wire and tie it to the antenna wire before you pull it out so you have something there to re route it back in that thing is a pain

I had mine swapped at the dealership, but I didn't pay much since I swapped hatches with the service writer. I got the hatch off of her base so that I could get a CF Type-R spoiler and she was looking for the lip spoiler like I had. Luckily we both had NBP and she split the bill to have it done.

yeah that cool man, so i guess just have to wait for the swap day lol

bringing this back.....
if i wanted to swap my CF hatch with a regulr NBP hatch with no window.... would this be hard to do, could i keep my window and swap it or would i have to get my own window?
