Speaker connectors/speaker mounting depth

Based on the sources all 1990 Acura/Honda use the same standard plug system. Is that true? Wanted these rather than splicing wires, but there are some conflicting reports so I am sure someone on here messed with these or similar ones before and can chime in before I take a chance.

Also I wanted to get these for the front. I used to have ones like these in my old civic. They were the slim version from what I knew, but will 1 3/4 mounting depth be alright for the front? Once again someone probably already had these since I would assume they would be popular. Decent and cheap speakers.

Thanks

need spacers regardless of the 6.5 you go with as the cutouts are not enough for most 6.5s

As for the plugs yes they will work, but the connectors may not be correct for the new speakers so you may need to change them.
