Looking at a carbon fiber spoiler on RSX Store and was wondering how hard it would be to install onto my Base RSX. Another question I had was would the carbon wing look good unpainted or painted same color as my car (Blue)

Thanks as always guys

I had to remove and repair my factory spoiler on my base last year. Four bolts. Pretty easy. So long as the new one has the same bolt pattern; you should be okay. It'll be a good time to check for and repair any rust on the hatch too./// My personal feeling is to leave the thing black. But it should be easy to find a photo or just 'shop the different colors to compare. Good luck.

If you have the low wing, you should polish the hatch where the wing was because it will most likely leave old gasket. You can still see marks from where my old wing was. The holes will likely be rusted as well.

drill through?

The low wing has the exact same bolt pattern as the OEM high wing. The only drilling you would need to do would be for a spoiler-less hatch OR a decklid hatch.

Oh I see what you're saying, drill holes into the new wing.

Yeah some of the reps might not have holes, although I generally saw them with holes. The OEM wings have studs which is awesome, but also sucks because when they rust through, you're screwed.

I used a bit large enough to be able to get the bolts through the hole without a ton of play. Just match the bit to your bolts.
