Hey all, I was hoping to get some advice. I have a Black 2004 RSX Type S that I bought brand new 20 years ago. It has 210k miles on it. And living in the Northeast and urban areas all its life, it has significant rust around the rear wheel wells, and by the spoiler. There are numerous scratches on the body from years of parking in the city. The front drivers leather seat has come apart as well, where the driver sits down. Other than that, it's still an amazing car and I still enjoy driving it. It's never had any major mechanical problems or major accidents. Over the years I have installed the OEM lip kit, the Mugen sports suspension, and upgraded the rear sway bar. No engine mods. I'm thinking about finally selling the car this fall/winter and replacing it with something newer. If I do, how much should I expect to sell it for (the list price isn't real, I just couldn't post without writing in a number), and what's the demand for the cars? Any other advice?

Go to the dealership and see how much they'll give you for it. Then go from there. If you do sell it to the dealership, part out the lip kit and aftermarket parts first.
I am replacing the RSX-S with a 2024 M2, which is in production now. I opted not to trade in the RSX because I didn't think they would give me much for it. I can ask them about valuation. I'm guessing it won't be much. Thanks for the advice!

I've got a '02 RSX Type S with +300,000 miles on it and was quoted $251 from Carvana.
Haha, $251 is a steal!

The last time I brought it to the local mechanic at a gas station, he said several people asked to buy it. Maybe I should try there as well.

Appreciate the suggestions all!

It's worth at least $3,000 to $6,000, there's not enough of them to reference on the market right now and even the junk yard RSX's are pretty high for a shell with no motor or trans.
Thanks. I'll try and sell by end of the year, and report back with what I was able to get for it. Cheers
