put on the depos yesterday..fit perfectly. looks great too. im never going to spend 500 on REAL jdm headlights fuck that. id rather spend that on a nice steak and 3 asian bitches to serve me up while i eat it HA

What about the black color finish in the lights? How does it compare to a DIY black out or JDM? I've heard it's flat black instead of a gloss.. :(

yeah, they are flat black. it doesnt look as nice but definately better than stock

Just put on my Depo's today (stockies were getting all cloudy) and so far so good. The light pattern is full of imperfections but nothing that impairs my ability to see anything. As far as looks, they are  and I was really surprised when I was installing them and found that they fit even better than my stock lights.

I hear Depos are hit or miss, so it seems like I ended up with a hit, but I'll be sure to share with CRSX if my opinion changes later on.

Now to figure out if there's anyone that could possibly want to adopt a pair of foggy, scratched up stock lights...

i had diy twice, paid sum fucker on this site twice, its been 6 months and its hazing already. plus he didnt even wipe the inside before sealing them. Be aware of this guy in the FS section offering service. I'll find his name to warn u guys. I just havent been on this site for awahile and deleted all my PMs. Saw a guy had the depo ones and the lens are clear and nice.

both are hit and miss, I work with DEPO, TYC, EAGLE EYES, CHIAN WAY all day, containers full of cheap aftermarket parts. all of them will eventually haze up and peel, the only way to prevent this is to wetsand them and clear them

I've been debating what to do.. since this is my only car to drive I'll prob just get Depos since I don't have much down time to do black outs and the possibly screwing up my only headlights. There's been no hazing or problems at all with them so I'd like to just keep them in the shape they are in.
This is the thing that keeps me from ordering some thinking DIY or Depo.. but I really don't think I'd have the nerve to do this to my only set of lights.

I've done the DIY and it came out pretty good, the problem is that I think my bulbs are burning because of that. Every time I change them and take the bulb off the housing a very strong smell of paint comes out, therefore where does the fumes from the paint goes to? NOT GOOD, there has to be a reaction. I've had TYC's on my last car and after a couple of months I started to see condensation. Im in the process of getting new headlights so I think I would go with DEPOs.

CRSX still carries DEPO http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/DPO-ARSX02HBC-p-EAL.html

I was thinking of getting some myself, seeing as my stock DIY's are looking like ass from being weathered and are flat black anyways.

As you said peel off the film, but step it up a bit and re-cover them with clear Lamin-X.
