Do you guys not have the little grey harness between your taillights? It's unused and has pins for brake lights/city lights etc that you can just tap into easily without splicing anywhere, then you just drop the two wires through the grommet by your spare tire and into the light. For the record I have an 02-04 converted to 05-06 so maybe that's why I have it?

This should be it for your 05-06ers. It's #7, the trailer light connector. It has everything you need and, unless you already have a trailer, should be unused and available for you to tap into! Then just drop the wire through the grommet right there and voila, mugen 3rd brake light :thumbsup:

With this connector does it light up when your tail lights are on or only when your brake?

you have the option of both, just depends which slot you put the + wire to (I can't remember off the top of my head which ones they are. I did it by matching them up by the colors of the wires coming from the taillights and going into the harness)
