Thanks for the heads up DOC. I didn't have those problems with my teins but I have greased up the H&Rs. I will be doing this when I get the Megans.
No problem man.

Update: 3 days and still no jam :)

lol Gary, don't you use the stock top mount for B+G?
Yup you were right... I PM'd someone and asked them just to be sure...

And now i realize what you're telling me. I don't need to lube it because it's the stock piece :noes: haha.

Such a suspension noob :(

Hopefully this will work on my JICs. Quick question though. Can you just take off the 3 nuts on the top of the strut and drop the assembly down to do it instead of removing the whole coilover? You shouldn't loose your alignment that way.

I'm pretty sure you can do that. I would've done that in the first place but I wanted to check out the entire coilover.

I didn't lubricate my D2 coilovers because the previous owner wasn't having any problems with them, but I'm getting the popping sounds as well.

Do I need to lubricate all four corners? So far (1 day) I am only hearing popping sounds from front two sides.. So annoying. I get a "pop" every 200 meters it seems. I am dropped till 1 fingergap left. Do I need to apply DOHCtor's procedures to all four corners?

Do you get the sound while turning, or is it while you're going straight?

If you get this sound while turning then your ball joint are jammed causing the spring to compress and pop. Just do what I did and lubricate the ball joint bearing.

If you get this sound while going straight on somewhat bumpy roads; then that must mean you unloaded the springs too much where it's not at full contact with the seats, so when your car lifts and come back down it will make a popping noise.

Hope this information helped you. Good luck!

That's exactly what my problem is! thanks you're pro...

When I go over bumps or something, my car goes up and down and then "pop" as the car lands to regular driving height.

"you unloaded the springs too much where it's not at full contact with the seats" What is the solution to this problem? Does "preload" have anything to do with this problem? THanks for all the help DOHCtor!! rep+++++
