One of my Sponsors just developed a new Short Ratio 6 speed gear kit for the K series transmission. It comes from a reputable company very much involved in the Honda Racing scene and in partnership with many renowned racing companies. Its manufactured by a group that specializes in high quality and precision OEM and aftermarket designs. It has already been race tested and will come out to the market within the next couple of weeks. This a synchromesh engagement kit with helical cut gears, but the manufacturer also made and tested a prototype straight cut set and might put them to production if there is a demand.
The gear ratios in this kit are the typical roadrace/rally type with a long 1st gear and tight transitions thereafter to keep the engine in the powerband as much as possible. This way you can have a short final drive ratio without making 1st gear useless.
This is what the ratios look like.
1st - 2.3125
2nd - 1.650
3rd - 1.304
4th - 1.080
5th - 0.958
6th - 0.851

This will be an awesome addition to the K series family given that there are not a whole lot of options out there for the K series gearbox. From what I know the price for this kit is not set yet, but the figures I heard it will be very-very affordable specially since its a complete kit and not a mix match of OEM gears.
This is pretty much all the information I have right now, I just had to post it because there's a lot of interest in a kit like this.
