Who's the "reputable company very much involved in the Honda Racing scene and in partnership with many renowned racing companies"? I liked what I was reading but for some reason it bugged me that the company's name wasn't brought up....not trying to bash you or anything, but i'd like a company name before putting out a decent amount of cash on a product :)

anyways, is there even a rough estimate on the cost? i'm working on putting pieces together for rebuilding my transmission and might be interested

also, would the gears be too short for comfortable daily driving? i don't mind reving to get moving pretty well (actually i like the long 1st gaer for daily driving) but what, for example would be the rpm's around 60mph?

looking forward to a reply :)

Didnt even noticed that I didnt post the company's name. The kit is produced by Gear-X. The cost is not set yet, they just told me its going to be very affordable an aimed at the club racing level so it will be within budget for a lot of us.

As for the rpms at 60mph it will be depending on your final drive ratio but the stock 4.38 it will be 3100rpms and 3500 with a 5.062. It will be just fine for city driving, but unless you race as well there would no point in getting racing ratios.
ok thanks for the info
(just noticed that you had the company name above the graph, sorry bout that)

what i really like about this kit is the longer 1st gear, that really has me interested. subscribed to remind myself of this and for updates :)
(i'm probably giong to start autocrossing shortly after rebuilding the transmission)
