im running a k24, lowered on ksports, & it is rubbing all into the sway bar on both sides, ive read the forum but which downward hoop type sway br would work w/ this set-up. another note idk if there is lots of confusion on what the ep3 vs. em2 sway bars are, but as far as it looks the em2 bar will clear the sides where it hits, hopefully there is enough on top to clear.
 
The em2 sway would not work for me with a k20. It cleared the sides but wasnt even close to clearing on the top. With a k24 you may be better off using the rear bar like the one guy did in this thread.
 
I also just installed the skunk2 header and it was a pain in the ass like everyone said. I guess the tips I could give is to cut the S2 header hanger, remove the oil filter, all OEM metal heat shields, and buy all the nuts/bolts/gasket for the B-pipe. My original setup was the ITR Header. Comparing the ITR vs S2, the low/mid end power feels similar but as soon as the vtec kicks in the Skunk2 feels more powerful. There is also a needles flowing throw a pipe sound.

The EM2 swaybar does not work at all, I need to find another OEM sway. I did notice there is room under the header so I took off the rear sway bar and placed it were the front bar was and it appears it would work. Of course if I did this I would install another rear sway bar. But I am unsure if this sway bar solution is a good option or not.

what do you guys think?
R u running the rear sway bar in the front ??
 
See post #144. It appears a straight swaybar upfront would easlly clear the S2 header since it sits higher, there was more room under the S2 RH. But i did not run this setup because i wanted to try the stock sway first before going with this out of the box idea.
 
got a used 1 off of ebay for like $200 and i wrapped it..................it was a pain in the ass to get it up. i had to remove the oil filter, bang the heat shield, and lower the subframe cuz she phat lol


oh btw,,does anyone have a kal for this? because its a big difference from DCRH my tune is all jacked up now, i had to add tons of fuel just to get over vtec and somehow it still hits protection sometimes

Hmm.. You should try loosening the header to mid pipe adapter and adjust the angle of that adapter... lmk if u need pics as I realize i mite sound confusing.

did anyone have a leak at the doughnut ?? i feel that the s2 doughnut gasket is slim. i read the oem ep3 doughnut is bigger. anyone have any input?
did you actually feel air around the area or are you going based off sound bcuz at first I thought i had one and turns out me and another member have the "needles in a tube" sound :dontknow:
 
its a noise that sounds like littles needles inside a metal pipe. and oh that fresh smell of emissions is the best
:iamwiths: gotta love it especially cuz I let the car warm up in the garage and can still smell it from inside the house
