my car makes a weird noise real quick only at start up as well when its chilly out also like if i missed a gear and its grinding or something, so your saying ts most likely the timing chain tensioner that needs to be replaced?
No. I'm pretty sure this is the starter solenoid that kicks the spur gear out to make contact with the flywheel teeth (this is how your starter turns over your motor), but after it starts is not disengaging and thus the motor turns the starter! It's kinda like holding the key down too long or starting it after it's already running. I don't know if it's a big concern but yes mine does this for a split-second too when it's cold out.

Set the timing chain back in place

Thanks for the video! Anyone know specific instructions on how to set the chain back after it skipped? I got the P0341, swapped out the intake and exhaust sensors just to make sure its not the sensor (of course the sensors are good). I want to set the timing chain back for now until I have enough money to replace the chain, tensioner and guides. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Im an amateur at working on my car but I have never done a timing chain.

Did u read the Helm's? A timing chain job can be a real PITA, but it's doable if you have good mechanical sense. If not, then you're better off taking it somewhere.

If you do it yourself, you'll need the Honda tool to lock the cams, or two drill bits that will fit thru the pulse plates.
