TL-S Brembo Brake Help

Hey guys, so recently I was lucky enough to find a pair of TLS Brembo front calipers and was looking forward to making them fit my DC5-s
I am aware that the mounting brackets will need to be bored out to fit the bolts as well as a 5 mill spacer that must be grinded to fit behind the rotor.

My Questions:
1) Will I need to upgrade my BMC in order to properly run the larger brakes

2) I have looked around for TL-S Brembo rotors but the websites I've looked at are not specific with whether they are made for the Brembo brakes or the regular brakes, are they the same? if not where can I find some direct replacement ones? not looking for drilled or slotted just regular plain faced ones, I don't see the point of performance rotors/pads if all I do is daily drive and hit the canyons every now and then

3) Are there any behind-the-rotor spacers already made? I don't really care about grinding down some spacers but I just want to know if there's an easier alternative

NOTE: I have already ordered stainless steel braided brake lines, Brembo pads and Brembo fluid, I just need info on the rotors, spacers, and bmc, thanks!

Run the OEM BMC.
2006-2008 TL-S rotors.
Ebay, amazon has all kind of spacers, just make sure they fit the center bore.

I just did mine. I ran a vision works kit to save myself the trouble. I have stop tech power slot tl-s rotors, akebono pads and stock bmc. Just an FYI, the behind the rotor spacer shouldn’t be 5mm either. It should only be like 1 or 2. Ive heard of ppl using cut washers before with positive results.

You could just machine the calipers so you don't have to run spacers at all.

Can I just buy the calipers its self and put them on rsx stock rotors or on aftermarket rotors?

If you buy TL Type-S Brembo calipers you will need to buy TL Type-S spec rotors and brake pads. RSX spec parts will not work. It is also recommended to switch to stainless steel brake lines.

1) You DO NOT need to upgrade brake master cylinder.

2) Just get the brake pads and rotor for a 07-08 TL Type S at your local auto parts, for warranty purposes.

3) It's a 5mm hubcentric spacer that you put behind the rotor to even it out. Find it on Amazon. They have some that fits right behind the rotor with no cutting needed.

4) Go to the dealer and get the M14 bolts for the calipers as your original M12 will no longer work. (9/16 drill bit needed)

Been running this setup for over 5 years with no issues. There IS another more expensive route for plug n play brembo calipers...but that's a secret.
