Hey guys, i just did 3 wires today to the negative terminal: Alternator, Intake Manifold and at the sway bar mount. I left the stock ground from negative to body.

Noticed improved throttle response and a smoother engine, but i still get the dips in RPM when i use the aircon/headlights/windows while at idle. I remember some people managed to get rid of the dipping in idle rpm when they turned these things on, was it using a voltage stabiliser in addition to ground cables?

also are there any other points you might think would make a difference to where ive already connected and why? thanks. :)

I know this is an old question, but I wanted reply anyways.

The main grounding point you want to make sure you do, if your going to do anything at all, is the Neg to Body. Think about it, everything else pretty much is grounded to other points TO THE CHASSIS. Sand the area around the bolt hole, and the bolt, just enough to get good solid metal contact. ALWAYS upgrade that ground first, followed by the engine ground, and if you still would like to help it somemore, do the Alt to Neg upgrade.

Then if for those adventurous people, take your Intake Manifold off, and replace your + Alt to Pos+ battery.

Your dips will vanish. :D Unless your altenator is dying. :eek:
 
anyone else have a pic of the cylinder head connection? i don't know if i have mine in the right spot? or should i not do this one?
